How it works
Learn, Prove Safety, Practise, Demonstrate Mastery
Students follow five stages — SCAN, SAFE, EXPLORE, SIMULATE, MASTER. The CompoSkill Passport is not awarded for finishing the app. It is pre-workshop competency clearance, issued only when a student reaches a CompoSkill Mastery Score of at least 80% and clears the Safety Gate at 100%. Both conditions are required.
Safety therefore counts twice: it is one of five competencies in that score, each weighted equally at 20%, and it is a condition of the passport in its own right. It does not block a student from moving between stages — a weak result lowers the total by a known amount and is reported to the instructor — but the passport is withheld until the 100% benchmark is reached. Guests are exempt, and their passport is marked as a demonstration.

Technology and Validation
Selected AI technologies were used in the development of this innovation. Educational and technical outputs were reviewed and validated by the project team.
Generative AI does not decide safety outcomes. The Safety Gate, the mastery calculation and passport eligibility are deterministic, tested code.
